A native of the of the Philadelphia area, Greg attended Villanova University receiving his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1964. The following four years were spent serving in the US Navy as an engineering officer (what else with a degree in economics?) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Lexington which was attached to the Naval Air Station, Pensacola FL.

Upon the completion of his military obligation, Greg spent the next 23 years in the employment of several prominent regional banks and national industrial finance companies such as the Philadelphia National Bank, Westinghouse Credit Corp, Crestar Bank Leasing and The CIT Group. During this period of time Greg also earned his MBA from Temple University and completed a non degree course of study at the Villanova School of Law.

His employment carried Greg from Philadelphia, to Baltimore/Washington, Greensboro, NC and finally Richmond, VA. His duties at each stop provided Greg with a unique combination of new business development sales skills along with a complete array of credit administration capabilities. His various job functions included responsibilities for the sale of finance and lease products to end users and equipment vendors, development and administration of national finance programs for manufactures such as Caterpillar, Link Belt and Komatsu, credit investigations and evaluations, financial statement analysis, loan/lease negotiations and presentations, seminars to equipment salesmen and credit staffs, generation of vendor reviews, collections and repossessions, collateral inspections and evaluations, and documentation preparation.

In the spring of 1991 Greg started his own company, The Ardmore Group, Inc. Here his primary business is generated from the brokering of loan and lease transactions to various bank and finance company sources. His equipment specialties encompass construction, coal, transportation, lift trucks, cranes, printing, aircraft, marine and machine tools. In addition, The Ardmore Group is very active in collections, repossessions and receivable management, tax preparation and tax negotiations with the IRS, financial statement preparation, equipment appraisals with occasional opportunities to buy and sell equipment.
