David Balovich, CBF, CCE, Chairman David moved his family to North Texas and founded an industrial leasing company which he operated for two years until joining the McKesson Drug organization as regional controller for it's Valu-Rite Pharmacy subsidiary. In the 1980's he joined Carterphone Communications as Corporate Credit Manager where he was responsible for reorganizing the credit, collections and cash application up until the time it was fully absorbed by Cable and Wireless PLC. He later joined the Docutel Corporation, then a leading manufacturer of ATM's and bank equipment where he created and staffed the credit and collection department and at the same time re-located and reorganized the credit and collection department of Olivetti USA and Olivetti Financial Services, a recent acquistion. In 1984, He founded David Paul & Associates a business credit consulting firm specializing in commercial credit consulting and training. One of his first assignments was to assist the Sony Corporation in reorganizing their consumer electronic credit offices. With over 28 years of consumer and commercial credit experience he is currently Chairman and CEO of The 3JM Company a holding company for David Paul & Associates, business credit consulting, Credit Dynamics©, training and education, and North Texas Mediation Services, dispute resolution. David earned his CBF and CCE certification through the National Association of Credit Management and is a Senior Mediation Specialist. He has conducted seminars for D & B Business Education Services since 1990 in topics including credit and collections, financial analysis, legal aspects of collecting, customer service, and supervision and management. He has trained over 50,000 participants. He has taught credit related subjects since 1978 in both college and university. He is the co-author of Commercial Credit and Collection Guide and has written numerous articles on credit related subjects which have appeared in Creditworthy News, IOMA, and other publications. He can provide expert witness testimony for all credit and collection activities both commercial and consumer. He has provided testimony dealing with Bankruptcy preferences, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Uniform Commercial Code, Credit Scoring, Credit Limits. |
